His passion for innovation, leadership, and transformational education will be an incredible asset to our students, faculty, and mission as we continue building a purpose-driven learning environment for young men across Oklahoma and beyond.
Reflecting on his decision to join Plains Preparatory Institute, Mr. Eno shared:
“After working across nearly every corner of the education landscape, I’ve become convinced that our country needs bold, innovative approaches to preparing students to build and lead the infrastructure of tomorrow. I am honored to join the team at Plains Preparatory Institute and help create a rigorous, purpose-driven high school experience for young men who are passionate about strengthening the heart of our nation through sustainable energy, agriculture, leadership, and innovation.”
Steve Eno joins Plains Preparatory Institute with a diverse background in technology, engineering, and education, bringing a passion for innovation and transformational learning to the Plains Preparatory Institute team. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Eno began his career as a Technical Consultant for Saba Software before transitioning into education. During college, he developed a strong love for learning through collaboration with mentors and peers; an experience that continues to shape his approach to teaching and leadership today.
Throughout his career, Mr. Eno has launched engineering and design programs, taught subjects ranging from computer science to physics, coached athletics, and mentored robotics and cybersecurity teams. He later worked with several innovative education startups, including Spike Lab, Synthesis, and 2Sigma School, before serving as Mechanical Engineering Coordinator at Da Vinci Schools, where he developed Project Leo; a classroom operating system designed to increase student engagement and improve learning data for educators. Today, he brings his experience and vision to Plains Preparatory Institute as one of the newest board members of the team.
