Plains Preparatory Institute provides an immersive educational atmosphere with camaraderie of peers that lasts a lifetime; setting free high intellect, physical and spiritual maturity with the innate purpose to benefit all mankind.
The small communities in Oklahoma have faded away as the foundation of small farmers faded away in the last decades of the 1900's. The work ethic also disappeared in young men as the training table of the agrarian life style changed to the electronic "keep me entertained" and social online era took over the verbal communication skills destroying labor related creative thinking skills.
Plains Preparatory Institute setting on one of my farms in the Braman area, will give me an opportunity to give back to my community and the United States. My background includes being an educator, farmer, rancher and small oil operator. My son, with a Masters in Agronomy from OSU will be taking over the farming operation allowing me the time to facilitate the birth of this non-profit institution.
The school from which I graduated in Braman became a foreign owned Marijuana farm which after destroying the old infrastructure was raided by drug authorities and shut down. Building this school and training top young men that I know will astound the world is my way of fighting back and not being a bystander as the world crumbles.
Plains Preparatory Institute is an attempt to put an Ivy league school with work ethic, common sense, and Christian ethics all wrapped into one for young men grades 9-12. To make this all possible, I have assembled an outstanding board to guide this nonprofit Institution to fruition. The board includes: Attorney Megan Holden; Dr. Tim Bowser phd/OSU; Dr. Kurt Campbell DVM .
Being almost 71 years old and a retired teacher and semi-retired farmer, it has been my goal to create this boys boarding school for generations to come. Being practical, I will act as founder/CEO to facilitate this premier educational opportunity. With the guidance of the board we will hire the most qualified teachers regardless of certification or degree and find the best administrator with the work ethic to instill the framework outlined.
